[PvP] Caligor

The Caligor Raid is one of the most important events in Act 4. Angels and Demons temporarily join forces to face Caligor, a powerful boss, while at the same time competing against each other to determine which faction deals the most damage and earns the best rewards. The event lasts 30 minutes and takes place exclusively on Channel 51.

Event Schedule

The Caligor Raid automatically starts 4 times a day:

  • 04:45
  • 12:45
  • 18:00
  • 20:30

All times are based on server time.

:::warning Portals close after 5 minutes 5 minutes after the event starts (when 25 minutes remain), the portals close and it is no longer possible to enter the raid. :::

How to Participate

Requirements:

  • Be on Channel 51 (Act 4).
  • Belong to a faction (Angel or Demon).

How to enter: when the event begins, portals appear in the Unknown Land map. Pass through one of the portals to be teleported into Caligor's arena.

Upon entering, you are placed in your faction's area:

  • Angels: left side of the arena.
  • Demons: right side of the arena.

The arena is a zone where normal player PvP is disabled, but a separate PvP system exists (see below).

Boss Mechanics

Caligor is a stationary boss located in the center of the arena. He does not move but attacks all players within range.

Key points:

  • Caligor cannot be moved.
  • Both factions attack the same boss simultaneously.
  • Every point of damage dealt counts toward your faction.
  • HP/MP recovery through skills is disabled inside the arena.

Damage bonus: players with the Onyx Wings buff deal 33% more damage to Caligor.

Death and respawn: if you die during the raid, you automatically respawn at your faction's base with full HP and MP and receive a temporary protection buff.

Faction System — Angels vs Demons

Even though both factions fight against Caligor, there is an internal competition to determine the winning faction.

How it works:

  • All damage dealt by Angel players is added to one counter.
  • All damage dealt by Demon players is added to another counter.
  • At the end of the event, the faction with the highest total damage wins.

The winning faction receives better rewards than the losing faction. The damage of both factions is updated and displayed in real time throughout the event, so you can always see who is winning.

PvP System During the Raid

In addition to the PvE battle against Caligor, there is also an optional PvP component.

How it works:

  • The map contains a PvP "Raid Bar" with 50 HP.
  • Each time a player defeats an enemy within the Raid Bar system, their faction gains one point and the bar loses 1 HP.
  • When the bar reaches 0 HP, the PvP winner is determined.

PvP Winner: the faction with the highest number of PvP kills wins the PvP phase and receives additional bonus rewards.

note

To receive PvP rewards, you must personally obtain at least 1 PvP kill.

Rewards

Rewards depend on two factors: your faction (winner/loser) and your personal contribution.

Minimum requirement: you must deal at least 10k damage to Caligor to receive the winning faction rewards.

OutcomeReward
Winning faction (PvE)1× Caligor Epic Chest
Losing faction (PvE)1× Caligor Rare Chest
PvP winning faction1× additional Caligor Epic Chest
PvP losing faction1× Caligor Rare Chest

Insufficient damage: if your faction wins but you dealt less than 10k damage, you only receive the consolation reward with the message: "Since you didn't do enough damage to Caligor, you will not be rewarded with the winning rewards."

Double rewards: there is a chance to double your rewards:

  • PvE: if you have the Caligor Reward buff, there is a chance that all PvE rewards will be doubled.
  • PvP: the same mechanic applies for PvP rewards.

If the reward doubling activates, you receive the message: "Congratulations! Your PvE/PvP rewards just got doubled!"

Post-Event Blessings

After the Caligor Raid is completed, all players on the server receive bonuses lasting 1 hour:

Caligor PvE Blessing:

  • The percentage bar gain in Glacernon is increased by 1.5×.
  • The faction contribution (FC) percentage gain is increased by 1.5×.

Caligor PvP Blessing:

  • 10% chance to receive an additional raid box in Glacernon raids.
